Invest in Yourself ? Financial Strategies for the AIHM Fellowship

Image of fingers typing on a calculator The AIHM Fellowship is an exciting opportunity to become a part of the future of health care. The Fellowship program can revitalize burned-out healthcare practitioners and provide healers with new tools that can be immediately translated into practice. This Fellowship experience is crafted for the busy practitioner who wants training in integrative health care within a diverse group of individuals who share a common passion.

At AIHM, we aim to make the Fellowship an affordable education option. We offer a quarterly payment plan to assist with budgeting for this once-in-a-lifetime investment for you and your patients.

Here are some tips on how to make the Fellowship financially feasible:

  1. Use Continuing Education Benefits.
Many employers offer an allotment for annual continuing education as part of your employee benefits. If this is part of your benefits plan, ask to use these funds toward the Fellowship tuition.
  2. Ask for Employer Sponsorship.
If your organization doesn?t provide funding for continuing education as a standard benefit, ask if they would be willing to sponsor your attending the program or pay for a portion of tuition. In exchange, they can position themselves as a forward-thinking medical center and you can serve as the Integrative Medicine representative at your organization.
  3. Apply for an AIHM Scholarship.
We offer a limited number of scholarships based on factors such as financial need, past or present military service, working with underserved communities, and the ability to grow the practice of integrative medicine in a variety of settings.
  4. Use a 0% Interest Credit Card Offer.
Do you have good credit? If so, apply for a 12-24 month 0% interest credit card and use those funds to help pay for the Fellowship. Choose a card with a bonus points system and earn points while expanding your education.

To learn more about our Fellowship Program, reach out to our Fellowship Team today at fellowship@aihm.org.
